This Privacy Policy sets out how SDRDB SPRL (“SDRDB”, “we” or “us”) collects and uses your personal data. This Privacy Policy applies to the website at https://www.sybilleduroy.com (the “Website”) and to any other dealings (art advising & art dealing, collection management, valuation, event & exhibition management) which we may have with you (e.g. by phone, by email or in person).

1. When you purchase, sell an artwork, or when you are advised by SDRDB sprl in the aim to purchase, estimate or sell an artwork, we collect the following information about you :

• your name;

• your contact information such as your address, email address and telephone number;

• your billing address (including payment details for transactional purposes);

• information about how you became known to SDRDB sprl; and

• records of each artwork purchased by you or that SDRDB sprl estimated for you (including, for example, images of the art work and associated invoices), logistics and shipping documents.

• details and inventory of the artworks present in your collection if you engage with SDRDB sprl to manage it.

We may also collect the personal data of your points of contact (e.g. your personal assistants or concierges). You confirm that you have permission to pass these details onto us for us to use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

If you are a supplier of SDRDB sprl, we will collect the names, telephone numbers and email addresses of your employees. You confirm that you have permission to pass these details onto us for us to use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Every information communicated to SDRDB sprl will remain confidential.

2. When you organize and exhibition or any other event in collaboration with SDRDB sprl, we collect the following information about you:

• your name;

• your contact information such as your address, email address and telephone number;

• your billing address (including payment details for transactional purposes);

• information about how you became known to SDRDB sprl; and

• information about the exhibition project or event (including, for example, images of the artworks shown during the exhibition, any written document about the project, logistics and shipping documents).

• the names, telephone numbers and email addresses of the artists exhibited and curator of the exhibition, if there is one.

Any information collected by SDRDB sprl remains confidential.

3. We collect your personal data for the following purposes:

• to provide you with information about prospective purchases or sales and SDRDB sprl’s services;

• to help us understand your needs and objectives, and to tailor our services to you;

• to keep you informed about artwork, artists and events that we think you may find interesting;

• to carry out our obligations under any agreement between you and SDRDB sprl;

• to communicate with you; and

• to administer, manage and develop the Website (including support and maintenance) and keep the Website safe and secure.

4. The legal basis for processing your personal data is:

• it is necessary for the performance of a contract between you and SDRDB sprl (for example, if you engage us to assist you with your art purchase/sale or with an event/exhibition management). In these circumstances, you are required to give us your personal data further to the contract. If you do not supply us with your personal data, it might delay or prevent us from providing you with our services;

• to further the legitimate interests of SDRDB sprl (for example, operating and making the Website available and providing you with information about SDRDB sprl’s services);

• to comply with our legal obligations; or

• your consent where you have requested us to contact you about upcoming events, prospective artworks or to provide you with any other relevant information. You may withdraw your consent at any time by giving us notice. By withdrawing your consent, you will no longer receive our marketing emails regarding upcoming events, prospective artworks.

• our third party suppliers who help us provide you with any services which you request e.g. shipping agents, insurance companies, framers, photographers dealers and auction houses;

• our third party suppliers who help us manage, improve, support and develop the Website;

• law enforcement and other regulatory bodies to comply with our legal obligations or to help tackle fraud or investigate any breach of this Privacy Policy; and

• any prospective buyer of the SDRDB sprl business or assets.

9. SDRDB sprl will only keep your personal data for as long as may be required for the purposes set out above or to comply with any legal obligation. If you are involved in the sale of an artwork through SDRDB sprl, we will keep certain documents (which may include your personal data) which are necessary for art provenance purposes.

10. SDRDB sprl is committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, SDRDB sprl has put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your personal data.

If you choose to communicate with us using WhatsApp, you are strongly recommended to read WhatsApp’s privacy policy and not to include anything of personal or sensitive nature in your WhatsApp communications with us. Please note that WhatsApp’s terms of use mean that certain of your personal data (including your contact list) is made available to WhatsApp and their associated companies, and that WhatsApp may transfer your personal data outside of the European Economic Area.
